• Latest Guidance for 2005/06 Best Value Performance Indicators (BVPIs) - the Audit Commission has recently published (22 November 2005) a comprehensive guidance for 2005/06 BVPIs. It includes original guidance published by the ODPM, subsequent clarifications and amendments. It also incorporates additional guidance from policy heads in government departments as well as responses to queries on the PIs received by the PI team in the Audit Commission. Please use this document from now for preparing estimates/targets and the end of year 2005/06 actuals
• Corporate Plan 2005/08 - see second bullet point below confirming the Addendum to the Corporate Plan 2005/08 which lists the final audited results for the 2004/05 Best Value Performance Indicators is now available
• Monitoring Council Performance - Basket Of Key PIs - the Council monitors on a regular basis through the year a selection of performance indicators that illustrate the major services and health of the Council and to view the latest monthly report click here
• Latest new clarifications from ODPM on 2005/06 BVPIs - the ODPM have just published a list of Clarifications/Amendments to the 2005/06 Best Value PIs. To view the changes click on the following: Clarifications/Amendments to 2005/06 BVPI's
• The Corporate Plan (previously known as the Best Value Performance Plan 2005-08) - is a very important document as it sets out how well we have performed in the past year and what improvements we plan to make in the short, mid and long term.
  Specifically, the plan sets out:
  - The council's aims and corporate priorities
  - How the council is performing now
  - Our plans for future improvement

• Newsletter 25: February 2005 - latest Newsletter with clarifications on 2004/05 Best Value performance indicators has just been received. This needs to be read prior to producing the estimates and end of year actuals. To view click on the following: here
• Medium Term Service Planning 2005/08 - Medium Term Service Plans 2005/08 need to be completed, signed by the Directorate Lead Cabinet member and returned to the Corporate Policy and Performance Team by 28 February 2005. • Year On Year PI Analysis of performance for 2003/04 PI results - the council's 2003/04 Best Value Performance indicator audited results have been reviewed against previous year's performance.
