• Don't worry about capitalisation, it is ignored.
  
  
• Start with a general enquiry then refine it if you get too many pages returned.
  
  
• You can limit a search to just council pages if this is where the information is likely to be.
  
  
• The advanced search allows you to further refine your search.
  
  
• Try to think of a unique word or phrase that may appear on the page you are looking for.
  
  
• If you are looking for a restaurant, a local business, accommodation, pub etc try the appropriate directory. A list is provided on the search site home page.
  
  
• Check your spelling, if you're not certain of the correct spelling try different combinations or just type part of the word.
  
  
• If you're looking for something which can be singular or plural (with an 's') use the singular, you will then find both.
  
  
• All articles have a link to their area home page at the bottom. Where you may find more information of a similar subject.
