It would be reasonable to assume that a 'ready to run' software solution is going to be very restrictive in its choice of graphic style and overall look and feel. This is definitely not the case with Portal Constructor. The site and any individually Weblets can have just about any style from 'high tech' to traditional or specialised. We have skilled graphic designers who can either recreate your current image or produce new ones to exactly fit your planned 'branding'.
Implementing Look and Feel
For some reason this element of a website always seems to generate more debate and concern that any other. In Portal Constructor look and feel is implemented through a set of styles and templates.
These are set up at the outset of the implementation of the site. It is through these styles and templates that the overall look and feel is defined and controlled. The site's administrator will decide the choice, if any, of styles that are available to particular Weblet owners.
Using this method the site can end up with just one overall appearance or, if preferred every Weblet and therefore topic can look completely different.
The simple point and click selection of the preset styles means that a sites appearance can be quickly updated without the need for an external web designer. Unlike traditional website implementation the Portal Constructor method permits look and feel to be designed in just a few days.

The web portal that Portal Constructor produces will be unique to you. It will have your choice of look and feel, and will be completely different from other sites produced with the software.
Very Flexible
Unlike simpler, less flexible content management software Portal Constructor only restricts the appearance and the type of content to the parameters set by the administrator. Content can be presented from strict to free hand formats, the choice is yours.
Re-use Existing Images/Graphics
It is often the case that a substantial investment has already been made in a previous web site. With our software all previous graphics, and systoles can normally be reused.
Multiple Look & Feels Practicable
With Portal Constructor you are not limited to one 'look and feel', far from it. A Weblet can be as similar or as different as the administrator decides. This allows partner organisations to own and maintain one or more Weblets in their own 'brand image'.
